Phang Nga Bay & James Bond Island — Private Day Tour (from Krabi)
08:15 hrs – Meet your professional English-speaking guide in the lobby of your hotel (Krabi area). Travel in comfort by private van to Tha Dan Pier in Phang Nga Province.
09:15 hrs – Arrive at the pier and embark on a private long-tail boat for an unforgettable cruise into the breathtaking Phang Nga Bay, part of Ao Phang Nga National Park.
Admire spectacular limestone cliffs and wooded islands rising majestically from the emerald waters. Pass by Khao Ma Ju (“Chow Mountain”), set among mangrove forests near Panyi Canal.
Continue onward to the iconic Khao Phing Kan, more famously known as James Bond Island, featured in the 1974 film The Man with the Golden Gun. Explore its dramatic limestone formations and hidden caves, stroll along the beach, and take photographs of the striking Ko Tapu, a 20-meter-high (66-foot) limestone islet standing proudly in the bay.
12:00 hrs – Visit Koh Panyi, a fascinating floating Muslim fishing village built on stilts above the water. Enjoy a delicious local lunch at a village restaurant, followed by time to stroll, take photographs, or simply soak up the unique atmosphere.
Afterwards, return to the mainland by long-tail boat and continue by van to Suwannakhuha Temple (Wat Suwan Khuha). Explore the impressive cave temple, observe playful monkeys, and capture memorable photos before heading back.
