Itinerary

08:00 – Meet & Greet at Your Hotel

Your English-speaking local guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. After a brief introduction, begin your immersive cultural experience in Krabi.

08:30 – Visit Maharat Morning Market

Start your day with a visit to Maharat Market, the largest and most vibrant local market in Krabi Town. Here you will find fresh seafood, meats, vegetables, tropical fruits, and Thai cooking ingredients.

Experience the local lifestyle as you taste traditional Thai desserts and enjoy an authentic local Thai breakfast, such as grilled sticky rice with Thai tea or coffee — a local favorite. This market is a social hub where locals gather to eat, chat, and shop.

10:00 – Visit Wat Kaew Korawaram Temple

Explore Wat Kaew Korawaram, one of the most important Buddhist temples in Krabi. Located on a hill in the town center, this peaceful temple is reached via a grand staircase lined with naga (serpent) sculptures and offers a serene atmosphere and beautiful architecture.

11:00 – Longtail Boat Ride to Khanab Nam Cave & Mangrove Forest

Board a traditional longtail boat from the Krabi River pier and travel to Khanab Nam Cave, a site filled with limestone formations and local legends.

Continue through the scenic mangrove forest, rich in biodiversity and offering excellent photo opportunities and fresh air.

12:00 – Arrive at Koh Klang Island (Local Community Visit)

Koh Klang is a peaceful island located just 5 minutes by boat from Krabi Town. It is home to a traditional Muslim fishing community.

Ride a local tuk tuk sidecar and explore the island, visiting:

• Traditional longtail boat builders
• Rice paddies and coconut orchards
• A batik workshop – design your own batik cloth as a souvenir
• A local cooperative producing honey, soap, and shampoo from stingless bees
• Scenic viewpoints including one with views of Chicken Island (Koh Gai)
• Khlong Talung Wetland Area, a sanctuary for migratory birds and the first East Asian–Australasian Flyway site in Thailand

This area is home to 27 species of migratory birds, 25 of which are of global importance. You may spot species such as the spotted greenshank, grey plover, black-winged stilt, red-necked stint, and the great knot — especially in the early morning or late afternoon at low tide.

13:00 – Local Lunch at Floating Fish Farm Restaurant

Enjoy a delicious local seafood lunch at a floating restaurant on the river, surrounded by mangroves and calm waters.

To help preserve local traditions, visitors are kindly asked to:

• Not bring alcohol, drugs, or intoxicants
• Avoid public displays of affection
• Not bring pork or pork products
• Not bring dogs onto the island
• Dress modestly while on the island

14:30–15:00 – Return to Mainland & Optional Walking Street Market Visit

Take the boat back to Krabi Town. If time and energy allow, your guide will take you to the Krabi Walking Street Market, located near the famous Mud Crab Sculpture. Enjoy local snacks, take photos, or shop for handmade souvenirs.

17:00 – Return to Hotel

Your tour ends with a private transfer back to your hotel. You’ll leave with new cultural insights, beautiful photos, and lasting memories.
